If you are looking for ways to have a more positive outlook for the future and inspire others to do the same, we have updated the Virtues Cards app to help shift your mindset and apply the ‘language of virtues’ as a daily practice
To help you do this, we’ve added a few new (and free!) features to our signature Virtues Cards app. But before you can access them, please take a moment to ensure that you’re updated to the latest version (1.7.0).
The 2 Features That We’re Excited to Share with You
Daily Virtues Pick. Use this feature to set a reminder to do your daily Virtues Pick at a time that works best for you!
Virtues Prompts. These are short and simple notes of inspiration, motivation, and guidance that pop-up throughout the day at times of your choosing.
These can be accessed through the ‘Reminders’ tab in the bottom menu of the app.
Why are these Reminders important?
What you say to yourself and others makes a difference how you think, feel, and act. Words, even those said to yourself, have the power to encourage or discourage.
One of the first steps in incorporating the virtues into your everyday life is to start to ‘Learn the Language’ of virtues. This means using virtues in your acknowledgements to your family, friends, and colleagues, as well as reframing your feedback using virtues.
By setting reminders to do a Daily Virtues Pick or to receive a Virtues Prompt, you will start to become more familiar with how to use virtues in your everyday speech, and your ‘virtues language’ skills will grow!
